There's several additional options to enhance the way elements are displayed according to their Renovation Status.
Notice that these options are disponible depending on the Renovation Filter selected.
You can hide opening dimension marker, zone, objects and other elements.
You can also specify whether or not elements intersect.
Create design options using the Renovation tool
There is one more option in the Renovation Palette,This button has two options:
- Pinned: show on current Renovation Filter only.
- Not pinned: show on all relevant Filters.
You can create as many Renovation Filters as you need.
Now, when modeling new elements for your design options, choose the Renovation Filter from the Renovation Palette, and make sure that the "Show on current Renovation Filter only " is pinned.
Do the same thing with the other design options.
You can select existing elements in your model, then assign them to an option (Renovation Filter), always with "Show on current Renovation Filter only " pinned.
Even if you are not often working on renovation project, you can use this tool to create design options in a given project.
Do you use this tool other than renovation ? What method do you prefer when working with different options to your design: renovation filter or assigning layers depending on the option ?
